IUE-CWA Scholarship Now Available
The IUE-CWA is now taking applications for its 2008-2009 scholarships. IUE-CWA offers 17 scholarships worth between $1,000 and $3,000 to deserving members, their children and grandchildren. These are in addition to the CWA Joseph Beirne scholarships.

A college education is costly, but typical scholarships often cut out deserving middle-class students because their families earn more than some arbitrary amount. These scholarships are available based on union membership and interest, not finances. They will help members to stretch their paychecks to cover all other expenses they face.
Applications must be submitted no later than March 31, 2008.
If selected a winner, you will be required to provide a photograph of yourself before a check can be issued.
