PRODUCTION SUSPENSION CONTINUES AT MORAINE ASSEMBLY
Please read this ENTIRE message.
The suspension of production continues at Moraine Assembly due to the strike at American Axle. The suspension will continue for an undefined period of time. Employees are advised that a mid-week recall is possible and therefore should make appropriate arrangements to be available for work when recalled. (This recall could be during the week of March 31st or any week that follows until Moraine Assembly receives the parts needed to run production.)
Please check this website regularly and stay tuned to local television and radio stations for any updates on the status of production at Moraine Assembly. We hope to be back to work soon and will update this website when employees should return to work.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we anxiously await returning to building great SUV’s for our customers.
The next update to this message will occur when employees are recalled to work or when any additional information becomes available.

The following employees should report to work on Monday, March 31, 2008:
· All Salaried employees
· Other employees as notified by their Group Leaders
All other employees of Moraine Assembly will remain or be placed on the temporary layoff that began Monday, March 10, 2008. To continue your unemployment benefits, please follow the directions given to you by the State of Ohio when you filed your original claim. You’ll also need to file for continuation of SUB if eligible.
